GREEN WITH CHLOROPHYLLIN

Here is my green soap that I've coloured with chlorophyllin that I got from The Soap Kitchen. I aimed at lighter color, but it seems that it is really difficult not to use it too much. This soap has been exposed to light for 8 weeks now and I can not yet identify any fading of the color. In the first picture the soap is dry and in the second one it's watered.

  1. Beautiful Heidi! I have yet to work with chlorophyl but have been hesitant to use it upon learning that it is prone to speeding up rancidity in soap. Sure hope that's not the case, because I absolutely adore the green you achieved in your soap!

  2. Thank you Cocobong. I actually had not heard about the rancidity problem. I'll save one bar and see what happens.
