Recipe:
Coconut oil 40%
Olive oil 30%
Beeswax 20%
Castor oil 10%
38% water as percentage of oil weight
15% superfat
Method: oven hot process, 100C for 60 minutes.
Few years back Heidi created Bee Happy all natural handmade soap. We loved it because of it was so good for dry skin.
Today we planned to make this same soap, but using slightly different oils for even more bubbly and moisturizing soap. We substituted rapeseed oil with olive oil to get a nicer texture. Cocoa butter was substituted with castor oil for extra moisture. We expect to have a softer soap than the original Bee Happy although we reduced superfat percentage whic should harden the soap.
We'll update you in couple of weeks how the soap turned out.
